NEW Little League Age Determination

Why did Little League make the change to the Age Determination Date?

After receiving requests from local leagues and districts to provide a better transition for younger players, Little League worked with its volunteers, the Little League Advisory Board, and the Little League International Board of Directors Operations Committee to create this plan.

As a result, the new age determination date has allowed our program to become younger and let players, parents, and leagues use the various age levels of the Little League Baseball divisions to ensure all Little Leaguers are playing in the division that suits his/her skill level the best.
